Death: Wendell Brown Obituary – The death of Wendell Brown, who was 62 years old at the time of his passing, occurred at his residence in Lake Butler on the 30th of March, 2024. Wendell Brown was born on March 6, 1962, in Starke, Florida, to Artemis Brown and Ruby Mosely Brown, both of whom have now passed away. Wendell Brown went on to become a successful businessman. Wendell was a devoted Lieutenant at Union Correctional Institute for a period of thirty years, up until the time when he retired from his position there.

Wendell, who was well-known for his enthusiasm for the great outdoors, took great delight in activities like as hunting, riding his motorcycle, and taking part in any activity that provided him with the opportunity to be in the midst of nature. The self-motivated and altruistic spirit of the individual that he was was reflected in the fact that he was dedicated to his family, his work, and the hobbies that he desired to pursue. All of Wendell’s loved ones, including his beloved dog Tebow and his husband of thirty years, Kimbery Brown, had passed away before to his passing. Additionally, his father ended his life before he did.

Wendell is survived by his mother, Ruby Brown of Lake Butler; daughters: Crystal Rimes, Katherine Benton both of Lake Butler, and Ashley (Matthew) Eubanks of Milton, FL; grandchildren: Kayley, Lane, Ashlann, Emilee, Kevin, Saydee, John, and Maddux; great-grandchildren: Jaxon, Jacobi, Jaylaya, Jaelen, Zaylin, Ryland; siblings Terry (Rory) Myers, Randall (Dorine) Brown, Rick (Susan) Brown, and Paulette (Eddie) Harden; sister-in-law Julie King; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

An open house is scheduled to take place at the Archer-Milton Funeral Home in Lake Butler on April 4th, beginning at five o’clock in the afternoon and continuing until seven o’clock in the evening. On April 5th, the funeral service will begin at ten o’clock in the morning and will take place at the funeral home which is located in the same location. Following the conclusion of the funeral service, Wendell will be laid to rest at the cemetery of the Hope Baptist Church in Starke. This will take place after the service has concluded.
