Death: Hector Eccles Obituary – There have been more tributes paid to a young farmer from East Lancashire who passed away as a result of injuries sustained in a bike accident that occurred during the Easter weekend. On the morning of Saturday, about 12:40 a.m., Hector Eccles, who was 16 years old at the time, was riding a Polaris Ranger Farmbike on Exwistle Road in Worsthorne. On Sunday, the investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death were confirmed by the police. An individual from Burnley who was 17 years old and his passenger did not incur any injuries that were considered to be significant. Hector’s family affectionately recalled him as a “beautiful, kind, and lovely boy” in his later years. Hector’s happiness was never higher than when he was working on the farm, hanging out with his friends at Pendle Young Farmers, or attending Gisburn Auctions.
