Glendale Car Accident Today, Police Investigate Fatal Collision

Glendale Car Accident Today – Glendale’s freeway was functioning on Tuesday morning, when it first opened to traffic. The crash was originally reported around 5 a.m. on the westbound span of the 134, a little distance from Glendale Avenue. The Los Angeles Police Department caught footage of a defendant under the influence of alcohol attempting to bite a hospital officer. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports that the other car involved in the crash was a white Honda.

A SigAlert was issued around one hour after the collision, and it was scheduled to last until 7:30 a.m. On the other hand, one hour was added once it was discovered that the person driving the Honda had passed away. This was done in order to accommodate the circumstances. On Tuesday, April 2, 2024, the 134 Freeway in Glendale was closed in all but one lane due to a tragic semi-truck accident. The collision caused the closure.

According to Rich Prickett of KTLA 5, commuters going into the Glendale region saw “pretty big backups” due to traffic congestion. He claimed that Sky5 footage showed commuters squeezing past the event scene in the far right lane despite the fact that they were traveling in the opposite direction to avoid the problem.

“We believe the body of the person who was pronounced dead here on the westbound side of the 134 is still within that car,” Prickett stated about 6:50 a.m. “We believe that the body of the person is still inside that car.” Furthermore, Prickett claimed a traffic gridlock that went “all the way into Eagle Rock.” This was an addition to the earlier statement. Drivers are strongly recommended to look at alternative routes, such as going along Colorado Street to the 5 Freeway or taking the 210 Freeway to the interstate. They can choose one of these possibilities. Both of these options come with several recommendations. Additionally, commuters going north on the 2 Freeway should avoid the interchange with the 134 Freeway on their way to their destination. This is because the junction is an important intersection.
