Kate Kaufling Obituary, (2024) University Of Kentucky Dance Team Member Has Died – Death Notice And Visitation

Death: Kate Kaufling Obituary – Osteosarcoma is a form of bone cancer that is very aggressive, and it was revealed that Kate Kaufling, a member of the University of Kentucky Dance team, was suffering from this particular form of bone cancer. Unfortunately, that struggle has reached its conclusion. Dawn  Duncan Walters, who had previously worked as a coach with the United Kingdom Dance Team, was the one who broke the news that Kaufling had left the company. She did so on social media.

“With a heavy and broken heart,  saddened to say that our beautiful Kate passed away last night,” Walters wrote in a message on Instagram. ” saddened to say what happened.” “saddened to say that our beautiful Kate passed away.” In light of the fact that many of you have prayed for her throughout this difficult chain of events,  would like to use this opportunity to convey my appreciation. Your thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated by our UKDT family as well as her family. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Kaufling, a resident of Louisville who was 19 years old at the time of the news of her diagnosis, received support from the Big Blue Nation, which joined together to show their solidarity with her story. Kaufling, like her twin sister Abbey, had the goal of becoming a nurse, and she was also a member of the Cats dancing team. The “Kate’s Krew” GoFundMe campaign contributed more than $95,000 to the cause in order to support Kaufling’s medical and travel expenses to and from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where she rang the bell to indicate the completion of her chemotherapy treatments in January.

The hospital is located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Despite the fact that the disease had returned, the “Kate’s Krew” Facebook network continued to offer their support to the individual experiencing it. We are keeping Kaufling’s family and friends, as well as the members of the United Kingdom Dance Team, in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. On a global scale, cancer is the most debilitating disease.
