Death: Betty Pilson Obituary –¬†Betty Gayle Amburn Pilson, who was 83 years old and from Stuart, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at the residence of her daughter. She had been a resident of Stuart for many years. Galax, which is located in Carroll County, Virginia, was the location where Elwood and Flora Amburn, who have since passed away, brought their daughter Betty into the world on March 11, 1941. A lot of her relatives, including her grandparents, a brother named Thomas Amburn, and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins, all went away before she did. The memorial services that are scheduled to take place on Friday, April 5, 2024 at twelve o’clock noon will be held at Sycamore Baptist Church as the location of the funeral rituals. At the event, Pastor Shaun Draughn will serve as the presider. Families will be present at the church to meet and welcome guests between the hours of ten o’clock in the morning and twelve o’clock in the afternoon.
