Death: Jamie Arnold Obituary – Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga was the location where Jamie Sue (Morrow) Arnold, who was 87 years old and from Dayton, died away on Saturday, March 30, 2024. She was the daughter of Charles Chester Morrow and Eula Mae (Sneed) Morrow, both of whom passed away before her birth on August 11, 1936. She was born in Dayton. Her husband, Ray Farrell Arnold, Sr., as well as her stepmother, Audrey Morrow, her twin brother, John Morrow, her brothers Bob Morrow, Jim Morrow, Robert Cordell, and Herbert Cordell, and her sisters Mildred Day, Merlie Fairchild, Ruth Mickel, and Fayrene Wilkey, all passed away before her.

She was also predeceased by her stepmother. Jamie received his high school diploma at Rhea Central in the year 1954. In addition to her retirement from La-Z-Boy, she founded and ran a dairy farm with her husband. On Monday, April 1, 2024, at five o’clock in the afternoon, funeral services for Jamie will be held in the chapel of the funeral home. Her pastor, Reverend James Rogers, will preside over the ceremony. Immediately following the conclusion of the funeral, she will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens, near to her husband. A number of individuals, including Jamie’s nephews Daryl Garrison, Phillip Garrison, Alan Garrison, Chris Frazier, Scott Morrow, Harold Morrow, Donnie Mikel, Mike Morrow, Jeremy Majors, Mark Crawley, Butch Morrow, Bob Vann, Greg Morrow, Richard Day, Smokey Day, Eddie Day, and Bill Day, are serving as pall bearers and honorary pall bearers. Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton, Tennessee is providing care for the family. The family will be present in the funeral home parlor where they will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. and continuing until the time of the service.
