Myrtle Kaiser Obituary – On Thursday, March 28, 2024, Myrtle E. “Myrt” Kaiser, a resident of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died. She had reached the age of 92. St. Francis de Sales Church in Hazel Green, Wisconsin, will host a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. The event will be presided over by Reverend Peter Auer. It was determined that the burial would take place in the church cemetery. The Casey-McNett Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, Wisconsin will have a visitation on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The visitation will take place on Wednesday.

Their daughter, Myrt Kruse, was born on July 24, 1931, in Dubuque, Iowa. Arthur and Emma (Dausner) Kruse were proud parents to their daughter. On February 7, 1953, she and Ireneaus Kaiser exchanged vows and married. Her death occurred on December 2nd, 1981, despite the fact that he had died earlier. Myrt worked as a cashier at Walmart for thirty years and discovered that engaging with customers provided her with a great deal of satisfaction. In addition, she worked with Ireneaus on the family farm.

In her spare time, Myrt enjoyed gardening, playing cards, crossword puzzles, stitching, and sewing. She was also an experienced gardener. She had an obsession with collecting salt and pepper shakers as souvenirs for Myrt’s vacations, and she did so while she was away. Myrt is survived by her five children: Judy Runde (Greg) Runde of Sullivan, Wisconsin; Nancy Meyer (Verl) Meyer of Eldridge, Iowa; Ronald Kaiser (Connie) and Kenneth Kaiser (Lisa) of Cuba City; and Earl Kaiser (Theresa) of Platteville, Wisconsin; a son-in-law, Dave Sue of Belmont, Wisconsin; three sisters-in-law, Mary Kruse, Lois Kaiser, and Germaine Hying; seventeen grandchildren; and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.

Her family members, including her parents, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Olivia Kaiser, her daughter Linda Sue, her sister Donna Kruse, two brothers, Elmer (Ruth) Kruse and Duane Kruse, a sister-in-law, Jeanette (Harvey) Schroeder, and two brothers-in-law, Norbert (Grace) Kaiser and Jerome Kaiser, all died before her. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Sue, sister, Donna Kruse, and sister-in-law, Donna Kruse. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at St. Dominic Villa and Hospice of Dubuque for the care they gave to Myrt in her final days.
