Charles Andreu Obituary (2024), The Former Captain Of The La Verne Police Department Has Died – Death Notice

Death: Charles Andreu Obituary – The La Verne Police Department’s retired captain, Charles Andreu, died not long ago. The news of his passing has shocked and saddened the department. Captain Andreu died abruptly this morning at Claremont Manor. He joined the Las Vegas Police Department on December 28, 1963. The rank of Sergeant was bestowed upon him in 1967. Subsequently, he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in 1981 and then to Captain in 1984. Even after Captain Andreu stepped down from his position in 1990, after nearly 27 years of dedicated service, he remained active in the community as a parking commissioner and a member of the L.A.S.E.R.S.

(La Verne Amateur Emergency Radio Support), an organization that helps with communications in times of crisis when the police department’s radio system goes down. We appreciate all of his hard work and dedication over the years that he spent serving our community and the Department. Rest in peace, Lieutenant Andreu. This particular year was the one in which both of these undertakings took place at the same time. Both promotions were implemented in the exact same sequence as their announcements, which mirrored the actual implementation. The wise Captain Andreu retired from the military in 1990 after more than 27 years of service.

We wanted to show our gratitude for his unwavering dedication to the service throughout his career, so we did this. In addition to his role as parking commissioner, he remained active in the community as a member of the La Verne Amateur Emergency Radio Support (L.A.S.E.R.S.) club. Helping out the local community was the driving force behind each of these endeavors. So what? In the years that followed, he kept serving the community. The fact that he is involved in both of these things makes it possible for him to keep helping out the community.

The responsibility for meeting the duty to assist with communications falls on this organization in the case that the police department’s radio system fails to work properly during a major disaster. We would like to use this opportunity to thank him for all of the years of service he has given to the Department and the community. For all of his hard work, we are grateful. Now that we’ve done this, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your help. To the end of all time, my deepest desire is that you, Lieutenant Andreu, may find the peace that is rightfully yours. Regardless of your current location or where you were, I pray that you find the calm you desire for.
