Austin Kirk Obituary Sharon, PA, (2024) – Death Notice And Visitation

Death: Austin Kirk Obituary – Austin Kirk died earlier than expected, despite his family’s wishes. His family takes great comfort in knowing that Austin continues to live in the presence of God, where he has been made whole in all elements of his being—body, mind, and spirit—despite the fact that his time on earth was brief. Austin grew raised in Sharon, Pennsylvania, surrounded by literature and land. His parents, both educators, and his brother, James, were all present. His upbringing was extremely traditional, with him spending time at the library on the edge of the field behind his house, camping, and participating in a variety of sports. Reading, history, and the church were all things his parents instilled in him from an early age. Austin formed the majority of his long-lasting friendships through his involvement in Fairbanks Baptist Church’s children’s and youth ministry.

Following his graduation from Jersey Village High School, Austin attended Texas A&M University. It was then that he met Annette, who would later become his ex-wife of 31 years. Almost immediately after his marriage, Austin decided to join the military. Before joining Airborne School in Georgia, he completed basic and advanced individual training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. During Austin’s airborne soldier graduation ceremony, a World War II veteran of the United States Air Force awarded him with his first set of jump wings. Austin landed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, just in time to check in to his first unit with the 82nd Airborne Division before departing for Desert Storm.

Following that mission, he was transferred to Germany, trained as a special forces doctor in San Antonio, returned to the 82nd, and eventually moved into the Psychological Operations section. Austin resigned from the United States Air Force in 2011 as a Master Sergeant and Senior Parachutist, having served for almost twenty-one and a half years. He has received numerous accolades for his outstanding service in the Army, including the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Joint Services Commendation Medal, and multiple Army Commendation Medals. Austin was most proud of his two children, James Austin and Marshall, despite the fact that his military job compelled him to spend significant time away from his family.

It made him quite happy to go trekking and camping with them. In addition, he enjoyed teaching others about his love of movies, music, and books, particularly The Lord of the Rings and anything Marvel or Star Wars. However, Austin and Houston have recently been compelled to give up their position in Austin’s adoration for Adela, Austin’s only grandchild. The “Pops” fell in love with her at first glance. Austin’s parents, James and Shirley Kirk, went away before him. Austin was next in line. His son Austin and his wife Selina, as well as his granddaughter Adela, his son Houston, his brother James Lee Kirk and his wife Joyce, and his nieces Jessica and Jenna, are among those affected by his demise. Austin’s aunts, uncles, and many cousins will also miss him. Finally, Austin would like to thank his dog, Theo, who will greatly miss him.
