In the sake of respect, we ask that you not bring any children with you when you come to visit, and we also ask that you not arrive drunk. Ty was born in West Monroe on June 18, 1981, and he has lived in Monroe for the entirety of his life in Monroe. In the year 1999, he received his diploma from River Oaks High School. During his time at River Oaks, he was a multi-talented athlete who participated in both basketball and football.

Above all else, Ty’s love for his four children was unwavering. He was also quite fond of his extended family as well as his many acquaintances. His favorite activities were fishing and spending time outside. Ty has worked in a variety of fields over the course of his career, including construction, lawn care, and contracting. His father was a brilliant carpenter, and he took great pride in the fact that he was able to work alongside him. The guitar was his first instrument, and he began to play it when he was a youngster. Music has been his lifelong interest. He was not only a fan of playing the guitar and writing songs himself, but he also enjoyed providing encouragement to his many friends who were also musicians.

Mia, Ava, Millie, and Max Tillman, along with their mother Jody (Maynard) Tillman, are the only members of Ty’s family to survive his passing. His parents are also left behind. Additionally, he is survived by his sister, Kristy Tillman, who resides in Washington, District of Columbia. In addition, a large number of his extended family members and acquaintances who have known him for his whole life, including Jennifer Mercer, who is a great friend, are grieving his departure. At the Monroe Residence, information on the funeral will be distributed on March 29th, 24th, from six o’clock to eight o’clock.
