Death: Rutha Louise Struble Obituary – Witter resident Rutha Louise Struble, who was 83 years old, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 24, 2024. Her parents, Haskel Leo and Elma Louise Maxwell Shaffer, welcomed her into the world on Thursday, January 23, 1941, in the town of Colcord, Oklahoma. Two children were born to Rutha and Roy Lawrence Struble after their marriage, which took place on November 28, 1959 in Cheney, Kansas. Rutha and Roy Lawrence Struble were married.

A homemaker who was also an active member of the Missionary Baptist Church, she was a member of the church. Rutha’s commitment to her Christian faith was unflinching throughout her life. She discovered consolation and happiness in the straightforward pleasures that life had to offer, such as crocheting intricate designs, tending to her garden with sensitive care, and preserving the bounty of her vegetable garden through the process of canning. Her hands were so skilled that they were able to create gorgeous clothing and warm comforters, and each stitch was a demonstration of her enthusiasm for sewing. When she had some free time, she discovered that playing games on her computer was a great way to unwind.

The following individuals passed away before Rutha: her parents, Haskel and Elma Shaffer; her husband, Roy Struble; one son, Roy Struble, Jr.; one grandson, Mark Struble; and one brother, Leo Shaffer. She is survived by her daughter, Connie Spain, who resides in Hastings, Minnesota; her daughter-in-law, Margaret Williams-Struble, who resides in Witter; her four grandchildren, Charlene Rice, Jessica High, Miranda Struble, and Caitlin Leenen; and her twelve great-grandchildren.
