Death: Sandra Jean Korn obituary Not Available – It was on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 that Sandra Jean Korn, who resided in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away at the age of 86. The daughter of Eugene and Winnie (Ellis) Runyon, who both passed away before her birth, she was born on July 26, 1937 in Aurora, Indiana.
Not only did Sandra belong to the Lawrenceburg American Legion, but she was also a member of the Dearborn County Historical Society. “Sweet Adelines” was a singing ensemble that she had previously been a part of.

Swimming, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends were some of her favorite activities.
She is survived by her daughter, Monica Dimuzio, who is married to Mark; her five sons, Mark Korn, who is married to Julie; Mike Korn, who is married to Bridget; Mitchell Korn; Martin Korn, who is married to Jacqueline; and Matthew Korn; her brother, Dennis Runyon; seven grandchildren, Michelle, Jenna, Kennedy, Jordan, Kaden, Lilly, and Jack; and her two great-grandchildren, Myla and Brycen respectively.

Both of her parents, Eugene and Winnie Runyon, as well as her brother, Gary Runyon, passed away before she did. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Fitch-Denney Funeral Home on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from one to four o’clock in the afternoon. On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at four o’clock in the afternoon, funeral services will be performed at the Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, with Pastor Tim Russell serving as the officiant. Her parents, Eugene and Winnie (Ellis) Runyon, both passed away before her birth.

An active participant in the Lawrenceburg American Legion and the Dearborn County Historical Society, Sandra was a member of both organizations. During her time with the “Sweet Adelines” singing group, she was a founding member. The activities that she enjoyed the most were swimming, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends. There are seven grandchildren, Michelle, Jenna, Kennedy, Jordan, Kaden, Lilly, and Jack; and two great grandchildren, Myla and Brycen. She is survived by her daughter, Monica (Mark) Dimuzio; her five sons, Mark (Julie) Korn, Mike (Bridget) Korn, Mitchell Korn, Martin (Jacqueline) Korn, and Matthew Korn; her brother, Dennis Runyon; and her two great-grandchildren.

At the Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, the family and friends of the deceased will be received on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from one to four o’clock in the afternoon.
